West Indies will be proud of Jayden Seales for entering the elite book of records for his terrific spell in the ongoing Test match against Bangladesh. Seales claimed four wickets in 15.5 overs and just conceded five runs in the entire spell. He also bowled ten maiden overs. Now, his economy rate of 0.30 is the second-best in Test cricket history.
Bangladesh decided to bat first, but Seales was magical in his spell. Bangladesh could only manage to score 164 runs in the first innings. Shadman Islam scored 64 runs in 137 balls, including five boundaries and one six. Apart from him, captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz scored 36 runs in 75 balls. For West Indies, Shamar Joseph also claimed three wickets while Roach claimed two wickets.

Jayden Seales' outstanding record helps West Indies
Bowler Jayden Seales is now the second-best bowler on the all-time list for the best bowling economy rates in Test cricket. He is right behind India's Bapu Nadkarni, whose brilliant spell of 32 overs with 27 maidens conceded just five runs at an economy of 0.15 against England in 1964. The West Indies bowler joins an elite group that includes other bowlers, such as India’s Umesh Yadav and Australia’s Nathan Lyon.
"He brings a lot of aggression to the table. This is the best I have seen him bowl. I enjoyed watching his spell today. Things always don’t go your way but getting three wickets today was pleasing for me," said Shamar Joseph on Jayden Seales.
