Is this MS Dhoni's last dance at Chepauk? CSK's recent post leaves fans in confusion

Fans of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were curious after seeing a social media post from the team just before their important Sunday IPL 2024 matchup against the Rajasthan Royals (RR). The majority of fans, however, stated that since it's the team's last IPL 2024 league game at home, they will perform a lap of honour. 

However, some concluded that it might contain information on MS Dhoni's future, though. If Dhoni chooses to retire from the IPL after this season and CSK is unable to advance to the final, which would take place in Chennai, then this may be his last game in Chennai.

"Requesting the Superfans to Stay back after the game! Something special coming your way!", said the Instagram post. 

The 61st match of the IPL 2024 against the Rajasthan Royals is one of the most important matches for CSK as they will be knocked out of the tournament if they lose the match. Hence, they'll have to be extra careful in this match in all the departments of the game. Moreover, the next match is against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru who are also on the path to qualify for the playoffs.

CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad during the toss time spoke about team combination and that they will be looking at each game with a different mindset. Moreover, both remaining matches are equally important for CSK to qualify for the playoffs. Hence, they should be responsible in the upcoming matches. 

"We spoke about the areas we need to improve. You need to be in a good head space and deliver what's expected. We got the right balance. Need to believe and back yourself. We want to win every game possible, you got to have the right mindset," said Ruturaj Gaikwad at the toss-time.
