Keeping the fans on their toes till the last moment is one of the things former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni is famous for. After passing the baton to his junior Ruturaj Gaikwad, critics expected Dhoni's craze among fans to get lower. On the contrary, his presence on the field has only increased their love for the player. At the age of 42, with several injuries, MS Dhoni's efforts and passion for the game and the team are top-notch.

Chennai Super Kings poor IPL 2024 performance
Known as Comeback Super Kings, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) did make a beautiful comeback in the IPL 2023 where they won the title in a dramatic manner, this year didn't go their way. Out of 14 matches, they won seven matches and lost seven and hence couldn't qualify for the playoffs. They lost their last match against RCB and with that lost the way to the knockouts.
Their batting and bowling were the main reasons behind their failure as the players didn't perform when it was needed the most. Apart from this, the injuries and national duty calls are to be blamed for the team's poor performance this season. Moreover, since they are known for their comebacks, we can only hope to see them perform well in the upcoming season.
