IPL 2024: Top 3 player battles to watch out for in the RCB vs DC match

The 62nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will be a decider for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and the Delhi Capitals (DC). After playing 12 matches, DC is on 12 points and RCB is on 10 points. Both teams have a chance to qualify for the playoffs and hence, will be looking forward to giving their best.

Playing without Rishabh Pant, DC will be under pressure as Axar Patel will lead the team for one match. As both teams are in a 'do or die' situation, the intensity of the match increases even more than usual.

1. Virat Kohli vs Kuldeep Yadav:

Virat Kohli is the leading run-scorer of IPL 2024 and is definitely the best batter in the world. The way he attacks the bowlers speaks volumes about his batting and the confidence he carries with himself. While Virat has a good record against pacers, he somehow struggles against the spinners. So playing against Kuldeep Yadav will be a task for him as the bowler is in red-hot form and has taken some unexpected wickets in the previous matches. 

2. Faf Du Plessis vs Khaleel Ahmed:

RCB skipper, Faf du Plessis will look to give the team a great start and playing against Khaleel Ahmed will be easier for him as he loves playing against pace. Apart from this, Ahmed's performance hasn't been that great this season. So, Faf might have an upper edge on the bowler in this game and will look to smash the ball out of the park. 

3. Jake Fraser-McGurk vs Mohammed Siraj: 

Jake Fraser-McGurk has had an amazing time in this IPL and has contributed majorly to DC's wins so far. As he opens, he'll be facing the in-form Mohammed Siraj of RCB who will look to shatter the stumps with his Yorkers. However, Jake seems extremely confident in his batting and will be looking forward to playing the prime bowler of RCB.
