IPL 2024: Top 3 key things GT need to do right to beat RR in today's clash

The clash between the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 24th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will be an interesting game as the RR team is in great form while the GT team hasn't found the momentum yet. Led by Shubman Gill, GT has made a lot of mistakes in their previous matches which prevented them from winning games. Even though the players are in great form, collectively they aren't able to get results for the team. Moreover, in the match against RR, they have to fix a few things which can get them some positive results.

Let's discuss the 3 key things GT need to do right to beat RR in today's clash:

1. Middle-order needs to step up 

One of the main issues with the GT team is their over-reliance on captain Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan. Both of them are terrific batters, however, most of the time all the pressure falls on them. Hence, the middle-order batters need to step up and perform well as that's how GT can secure a win against RR today. They need to take up the responsibility and play well for the betterment of the team. 

2. Spinners need to become a wicket-taking force 

The key strategy of GT against RR should be the improvement of their spinners. Even though the team has some excellent spinners, they aren't able to play as per their ability which is why GT has lost their previous matches. If they come together and perform, GT's chances to clinch a sweet victory over the unbeaten side will increase. 

3. Pacers need to be economical during deathovers

While the pacers managed to get quick wickets and give breakthroughs whenever needed, they conceded a lot of runs during the middle overs which changed the momentum of the game. To ensure a win over the RR side, the pacers need to be economical throughout the match as they are responsible for most of the bowling.
