IPL 2024 MVP Award: Top 3 overseas players with potential to win the award

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is back to keep the audience entertained for the next two months. The tournament started on March 22 and is going great as two teams have scored more than 250 runs. The entertainment and anticipation have reached another level with the way players are performing. While the Indians are giving their best, overseas players are playing exceptionally well for all the teams. From Mustafizur Rahman to Phil Salt, players are proving their worth with each passing day. Moreover, if they continue to play well, they can win the MVP award in the IPL 2024.  

Here are the three players who can win the MVP award in IPL 2024:

1. Sunil Narine 

Opening for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Sunil Narine has played some class shots to some of the best bowlers in the world. His confident batting and amazing bowling have left the fans and cricket experts shocked. His innings of 85 runs off 39 balls against the Delhi Capitals (DC) was spectacular along with one wicket. He is still one of the best players in the KKR team and if he continues to play well, he might win the MVP award this season. 

2. Henrich Klaasen

Sunrisers Hyderabad has definitely gotten some of the best players in the team. However, when it comes to Klaasen, the team is extremely lucky to have a clutch player like him. He is a great striker of the ball and effortlessly hits every ball toward the boundary. This season, he has performed in all the matches and is indeed a strong contender for the MVP award. 

3. Rachin Ravindra

Devon Conway's replacement, Rachin Ravindra has fit in the shoes of Conway quite well. The kind of starts he's giving to the innings is quite amazing and has become a great supporter of Ruturaj Gaikwad in the top order. He's one of the players who can win the MVP award this year considering his striking skills and ability to play both pacers and spinners really well.
