In one of the major updates regarding the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, the 32nd match of the tournament, which is scheduled to be played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) on April 17 is more likely to be rescheduled. Notably, the game is scheduled to be played at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata.
A report in ESPN Cricinfo understands that the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) is constantly in connection with the Kolkata Police and the local administration regarding the commencement of the match. However, there hasn’t been any official announcement yet about the rescheduling of this clash between the two-time IPL champions KKR and the inaugural IPL champions Rajasthan Royals.
Speaking of the current performance of both the teams in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024, KKR are in the top spot of the table with a brilliant net run rate of 1.047 securing 2 successive wins in their first two matches of the tournament.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals are in the third spot of the two wins in the first two matches, with a net run rate of 0.800.
