The 35th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 between the Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) saw another record break today. Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head smashed the DC bowlers in the powerplays, scoring 125 runs at no loss.

All the SRH matches turned out to be high-scoring, as they went on to score 266 runs in the first innings. It was definitely a forgettable night for the DC bowlers, as they were knocked all over the part with ease. While the spinners got wickets, the pacers' balls travelled out of the stadium. However, even during this high-intensity game, several players failed to shine.

Let's check out the top five worst performances of the DC vs SRH clash in the IPL 2024:

5. Aiden Markram

Aiden Markram

Aiden Markram's form throughout the IPL 2024 has been fantastic. However, in a game like this, he scored 1 run off 3 balls. It wasn't his day, as he got dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav, who was literally taking wickets at quick intervals. Moreover, after a disappointing performance in this game, Markram will look to bounce back in the next game.

4. Henrich Klaasen

Heinrich Klaasen

Known as the most dangerous batter in IPL 2024, Klaasen started his season with a half-century and scored back-to-back half-centuries. The bowlers found him intimidating because of his power-hitting skills. However, even though he started his innings with two super sixes, he was dismissed early by Axar Patel at 15 runs. Considering his form, DC got lucky with his wicket, or else he would have proved even more dangerous than the rest of the batting line-up.

3. David Warner

David Warner

David Warner's flop show continues as the batter got out for 1 run in this batting heaven. While it was expected of him to give the team a great start, he lost his way through the pressure of 267 runs. This season hasn't been great for Warner yet, but given his calibre, he'll bounce back sooner or later.

2. Tristan Stubbs

Tristan Stubbs

One of the star batters of DC, Tristan Stubbs, early departure came as a heartbreak for the fans. Stubbs, who played an amazing knock in the last match, could only score 10 runs today, which was highly disappointing for the team. If he had been there, DC's chance of getting close to the target would have increased.

1. Lalit Yadav

Lalit Yadav

In the game of batters, bowlers are having a tough time coping with the tournament. Lalit Yadav would definitely want to forget this match as the SRH batters thrashed him with ease. In just two overs, he conceded 41 runs at an economy of 20.50. He's one of those DC bowlers who was quite expensive in today's game and hence, couldn't complete the full bowling quota of four overs.
