Punjab Kings (PBKS) won their 4th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season by beating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Wednesday by 7 wickets. It was a one-sided match as the PBKS bowlers maintained a strong grip over the CSK batters.

Put into bat first, Chennai Super Kings could only score 162 runs from their 20 overs. Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad yet again was the best batter of the night by scoring 62 runs with the bat from just 48 balls.

Needing 163 to win, Jonny Bairstow continued from where he left off in Kolkata. Rilee Rossouw too batted well as the winning hit came with over 2 overs to play as former CSK star Sam Curran stayed put to watch his team win the game.
