India's tour of Sri Lanka starts on July 27; Will play three-match T20I and ODI series

The Indian cricket team is set to play the white-ball cricket series in Sri Lanka from July 27. After the Zimbabwe tour, India will travel to Sri Lanka to play a 3-match ODI and T20 series, ending on August 7. The tour will start with a three-match T20 series on July 27 at 7 PM. All the matches will be played in the evening, around 7 PM, which will be a good match for the viewers of both nations. 

The 3-match ODI series will start on August 2 and finish on August 7. The matches during the ODI series will begin in the afternoon and will consist of day and night matches. Hence, the entertainment factor will be more this time. The Sri Lankan team's condition is not significant in terms of cricket; therefore, this series will help them return to the cricket world.

After playing the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, India is set to travel to Zimbabwe for a 5-match T20I series. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the squad for the Zimbabwe series, where Shubman Gill has been handed over the team's responsibility. Players like Riyan Parag, Nitish Reddy, and Tushar Deshpande have been added to the team and will make their international debut soon. These matches will be a great exposure for them, and playing under experienced players like Sanju Samson and Ruturaj Gaikwad will help them in the long run.

1st T20I – 27th July – 7.00 PM

2nd T20I – 28th July – 7.00 PM

3rd T20I – 30th July – 7.00 PM

ODI Series

1st ODI – 2nd August – 2.30 PM

2nd ODI – 4th August – 2.30 PM

3rd ODI – 7th August – 2.30 PM
