The Board of Control for Cricket in India has unveiled India’s squad for the upcoming four-match T20I series against South Africa. Star batter Suryakumar Yadav is set to continue the leadership role as captain of the team. However, the squad selection also saw key players like Mayank Yadav and Riyan Parag sidelined, with injury concerns keeping them from contention.

India’s T20I campaign in South Africa will kick off on November 8 in Durban, followed by matches in Gqeberha, Centurion, and Johannesburg. The selection committee announced several fresh names for the series.
The squad features Sanju Samson as wicketkeeper, young and explosive opener Abhishek Sharma and dynamic middle-order batter Rinku Singh. Other young talents such as Tilak Varma and Jitesh Sharma will be expected to fortify the batting lineup, with all-rounder Hardik Pandya providing additional strength.
Shivam Dube also misses out!
Varun Chakaravarthy, returning to the squad, will helm India’s spin department alongside Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi. The pace unit, led by Arshdeep Singh, includes Vijaykumar Vyshak, Avesh Khan, and Yash Dayal. Notably, Shivam Dube was also unavailable due to injury, alongside Mayank Yadav, while Riyan Parag continues rehabilitation for a chronic shoulder issue at the BCCI Centre of Excellence.
