- It marked the Indian Women's team's first-ever T20I series win in England
- With one match to go in the series, India has an unassailable lead of 3-1
The Indian Women's team scripted history as they won their first-ever T20I series in England. A collective effort from the bowling unit and a regulation run chase from the batting unit meant the India Women claimed a win by 6 wickets with 3 overs to spare, which gave them an unassailable lead of 3-1 with a game to go in the series.
India restricted the home side to just 126/7 in their 20 overs, thanks to Radha Yadav's 2/15. She was assisted by Amanjot Kaur, Deepti Sharma, Shree Charani, and Arundhati Reddy at the other end. After a rare bad outing with the ball in their previous match, the Indian bowling unit made a strong comeback. No English batter could have a big impact on their innings.
