Cricket fans waiting to see the second India versus Bangladesh Test match could be in for some bad news. Rain expected to play spoil sport during the three days of the game to be played at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. It has been cloudy over the last few days with massive amounts of humidity. 

According to the weather report, there could be overnight rains that could see the start of play to be delayed. If the toss does happen on time, there is a spell of rain that could see the game being interrupted before lunch.

Play could also be interrupted post lunch with a small of window of action possible before Tea. There is more bad news for fans at the end of the day, when there can be more chances of rain. There is a good chance of the first day of the 2nd Test in Kanpur being affected by rain.

Will rains play spoilsport during the Kanpur Test?

It is expected to be cloudy on the first three days of the second Test match in Kanpur. Fans could get an entire day of action during the 2nd day of the game on Saturday. Rains can make a comeback on the third day of the game on Sunday. The 4th and 5th day of the game on Monday and Tuesday will see clear weather. 

According to reports, since the black soil will be used, the pitch will be on the lower side. The pace of the wicket is expected to be slower than the 1st Test in Chennai. With the cloud cover present, there is a chance that both sides could go in with three pacers. 

There were several reports doing rounds that the Indian side could go in for three spinners. At the time of writing, a few social media users put up pictures of team India training in the stadium. As per the pictures the sun was out in full force with the covers nearby incase it starts to rain. 

India and Bangladesh will start their 2nd Test in Kanpur on Friday. The toss is set to take place at 9 AM with the match starting 30 minutes later. Rohit Sharma and his side won the first game in Chennai last Sunday by 280 runs to take 1-0 lead in the series.
