ICC updates the men's T20I rankings, Suryakumar Yadav continues to dominate in the shortest format

Notably, the recently released T20I rankings by ICC, also include a few of the performances from the players in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024.

In a recent piece of news, the International Cricket Council (ICC) released the latest Men’s T20I rankings amidst the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The apex governing body of cricket released the updated rankings on their official website on June 11, 2024. Notably, the rankings also include a few of the performances from the players in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024.

One of the major highlights in the men’s T20I rankings of the batters was that the star Australia opener Travis Head made an entry to the top 10 batters with a gain of 6 spots, from his last rank of 16. Now, he is in the 10th spot of the men’s T20I batters’ rankings.

Suryakumar Yadav and Adil Rashid continue to dominant with the number 1 spots in bowlers and batters' rankings

Speaking of the Batter’s rankings in the Men’s T20Is, Pakistan skipper and star batter Babar Azam gained a spot and moved to the third spot in the batters’ rankings in the men’s T20Is. Babar Azam has now 756 rating points to his name.

Besides Babar, his Pakistan teammate Mohammad Rizwan has lost a spot and slipped to the fourth spot in the batters’ T20I rankings, with 752 rating points. Apart from these, England skipper and star batter Jos Buttler gained two spots and moved to the 5th spot in the points table. West Indies batter Brandon Kings also gained a spot and moved to the 7th spot in the rankings.

However, the star India batter Suryakumar Yadav continued to dominate in the men’s T20I batters’ rankings, with being on the top spot of the rankings, with 837 rating points, followed by England’s Phil Salt, who has 800 rating points.

Talking about the bowlers’ rankings, star England leg spinner is still on number 1 in the men’s T20I bowlers’ rankings followed by Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga. Besides these two, the star Afghanistan bowler Rashid Khan gained 4 spots and moved to the 3rd spot in the rankings, followed by Anrich Nortje who has also gained 4 spots.

The veteran Afghanistan all-rounder and former skipper Mohammad Nabi is now the new No. 1 all-rounder in the Men’s T20I rankings.
