'I might not have...' - Virat Kohli opens up on retirement plans during an event in Bengaluru

India's star batter Virat Kohli finally provides an update on his retirement plans during an event in Bengaluru. Kohli, who landed in Bengaluru today ahead of IPL 2025, attended an event where he spoke about many things, including his retirement. The player has revealed that he won't play against Australia in the future. He was a real threat to Australia in the past, and now that he is 36 years old, he might not play in the upcoming series.  

"I might not have another Australia tour in me, so I am at peace with whatever happened in the past," said Virat Kohli. 

The schedule for the India vs Australia series in the future hasn't been released yet. But now that Kohli has revealed that he won't be there, it will be a matter of concern for the management. Finding a replacement for a player like Kohli isn't that easy. Hence, India will surely miss him in Australia. Kohli is the highest run-scorer against Australia, which is a huge achievement. In the previous series as well, he scored a century in the first game. However, he failed to maintain momentum in the next games.

Kohli is a brilliant player, and his fans love to stay updated on his life. 

"I don't engage in posts a lot these days on social media. A lot of people are not happy about that, but that's something that I've consciously tried to do," added Virat Kohli.
