Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have started their camp for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. On Saturday, RCB's star player Virat Kohli landed in Bengaluru to take part in the camp for the upcoming tournament. The team has started their practice for the tournament at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

RCB will start their campaign on March 22 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. KKR are the defending champion, and that is why they will play the first game. RCB are one of the best teams in the tournament. However, they haven't won a single title yet. Kohli is the best in the business, and the team will depend on him.

Ahead of the start of the tournament, RCB franchise have a camp where all the players get together and practice for the league. This time, RCB have some good teams, and Rajat Patidar is set to take the responsibility of the team. 

Rajat Patidar is going to be the new captain of RCB: Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli announced the captain of the RCB team on February 13, ahead of the IPL 2025. The team will look forward to having a good time in the tournament. RCB haven't won a single title yet so they will surely plan to change the fate this year. 

"I'm here to inform everyone that Rajat Patidar is going to be the new captain of RCB. To grow into this role, of course, it is a big responsibility and I have done this for many years. Faf's done it for the last few years. To be seen as the guy who will take this franchise forward, I am sure this is a great honour for you. I am very very happy for you. You've earned the right to be in this position and I am sure you will grow from strength to strength," said Virat Kohli.
