In the recently concluded first Test match between Pakistan and England, Harry Brook scored a magnificent triple century, which broke many records. He became the fastest triple centurion by any Englishman and also became the second player for England to slam a triple century. Currently, he is one of the best players in England, and he has reached this height with his consistent hard work.

Former English bowler James Anderson compared Brook with Joe Root and named him one of the top three players on his list. While having a conversation on the Tailenders podcast, Anderson said, "He's on the way to being in the top three that I've played with. It's Root, Pietersen and him. He's definitely got all the attributes to overtake them."

Brook smashed the triple century, which was expected of him as he came after Joe Root. But he managed to strike well and reached the milestone on day three of the Test match. Root also went on to score a double century but the way he was batting, it looked like he would have gotten the triple century and not Brook.

The 25-year-old was a blessing to the team as they took a decent lead of 267 runs in the first innings and beat Pakistan by an inning and 47 runs. The English players gave a terrific performance throughout the match. Anderson said, "He's just got everything. Without trying to big him up too much because he's still really early in his Test career. I do think that he's got the perfect amount of each of those two and that's what will make him the best that we've ever had."
