In the ongoing 1st Test match between Pakistan and England, Harry Brook got lucky while he was batting on 75 runs. The incident was quite funny to watch as the ball hit the bat and then went on to hit the stumps as Brook tried to stop it. But the bails didn't come off. From there, he went on to hit a century and now is batting on 134 runs off 170 balls including 12 boundaries and one six.

He has made a blistering partnership of 220 runs off 258 balls with Joe Root who also smashed a century earlier on day 3. The former captain is heading towards a double century. As we write, England have scored 469 runs and are trailing by just 87 runs. They still have seven wickets in hand which means they can score quite a lot of runs from here.

Pakistan's bowlers are clueless in front of England's batting attack as they have played an attacking game throughout the innings. Along with Root, Brook might also hit a double century since the pitch is flat and favourable for the batters.

Multan's pitch under criticism as 1000+ runs are already scored

The Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan is under serious controversy as the pitch is extremely flat and the batters are getting the ball on the bat to hit freely. This has led to more than 1000+ plus runs being scored in three days of play. Former English players have criticised the pitch and called it a 'a bowlers graveyard'. England bowlers were successful in taking all the 10 wickets but Pakistan bowlers are finding it difficult to do so.

Two days of play are still left and England have sufficient time to register a huge total on the board and then dismiss Pakistan within that score. The result seems to be a distant dream as the game is heading towards a draw. This is a crucial game for England as they are fighting for a spot in the WTC 2025 Finals.
