Former cricket player Herschelle Gibbs acknowledged that he and Babar Azam had a language issue while applauding Pakistan's run-chase against South Africa in their tri-series match. The retired cricket player was asked by a fan to provide Babar some advice, just as he did when he was coaching the Karachi Kings, but Gibbs claimed it's hard to communicate because of the language barrier.
Hey Gibbs, How about giving some suggestions to Babar Azam like you did back in 2021/2022 during PSL with Karachi Kings? I guess he won't deny your interference this time 😉😬

Please stop calling me King - Babar Azam
Babar Azam continued to struggle on Wednesday as the Men in Green were chasing a daunting 353 against South Africa when Wiaan Mulder trapped him leg before wicket for 23. Salman Ali Agha and Rizwan, however, stitched a record-breaking 261 to put the home team across the finish line with one over remaining. However, during the post-match press conference, Babar Azam stated not to call him 'King', which is referred to as Virat Kohli. "Please stop calling me King. I am not King; I am not there yet. There are new roles for me now. Whatever I have done before is in the past. Every match is a fresh challenge, and I must focus on the present and future," Babar said.
Ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 being hosted in Pakistan, all eyes will be on Babar Azam, who is the star player of the nation. In recent times, Babar Azam has struggled with the bat, which raises questions as Pakistan will defend their Champions Trophy title against top teams. Babar Azam's last ODI century came in the Asia Cup 2023 against Nepal.
