Former Bangladesh batter Tamim Iqbal has recently turned into a commentator during the India vs Bangladesh series, where he talked about various things, including the performance of the Indian players. He gave credit to all the cricketers who performed well during the 1st game, but he was extremely impressed by Ravichandran Ashwin and his tactics. While talking on Jio Cinema, Tamim went to compare Ashwin with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma and said 'Ashwin is equally important in my eyes'.

"That was brilliant what he did, he was batting like a proper batter. I come from a different country. What I always hear is Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma but Ravichandran Ashwin is equally important in my eyes. Because we only talk about when they do well, when they get the hundreds, they get five-six wickets. But their contribution to this Indian team is immense. It's as big as Rohit, as big as Virat Kohli," said Tamim Iqbal at Jio Cinema.

Ravichandran Ashwin played well in the first game against Bangladesh, scoring a century in the innings. Moreover, in the same match, he claimed a fifer, helping India clinch victory in the game. His performance was the main reason behind India's win in the Test match, and he deserves all the praise showered on him now.

Rishabh Pant's unforgettable comeback in Test cricket

After being away from Test cricket for 20 months, Rishabh Pant has finally made his comeback in Test cricket with a magnificent century against Bangladesh. He scored 39 runs in the first innings and then went on to score 109 runs in the second innings alongside Shubman Gill, who scored 119 runs off 176 runs. However, Pant's journey has been quite inspirational.

From not being able to walk to scoring a century for India in Test cricket, Rishabh Pant has come a long way. He's an excellent wicketkeeper who motivates the players from behind and is always vigilant. Even though Pant's shots give mini heart attacks to the viewers, they are well-controlled, helping him score more runs. He has a long way to go, and in the upcoming years, he'll be India's best red-ball cricketer.
