Rishabh Pant is one of the most talented batters on the Indian cricket team and has experienced different growth over the years. From being an U-19 player to being a part of the senior team, his journey has been quite inspiring. Recently, he made a brilliant comeback in the Indian team with a blistering century against Bangladesh in the 1st Test match. After the severe accident a year ago, Rishabh's comeback is seen as a miracle.

After the match, Pant was asked about his batting pace and how he managed to play so fast. The commentator asked him. "Why are you playing so fast, Rishabh?" Pant's reply to this was quite funny. He said, "Jab lunch pe aaye the tab. Rohit bhai ne bola ki '1 ghanta aur khelenge, jisko jo banana hai bana lo.' Toh mera mindset change ho gaya ki jaldi-jaldi bana leta hoon."

The wicket-keeper batter scored 39 runs in the first innings and 109 runs in the second innings. It was an unforgettable match for the player as he loves red-ball cricket, and scoring a century on a comeback is something which will be etched in the memories.

Coming back to Test cricket where I belong the most: Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant loves Test cricket, and he said it out loud at the presentation. He is someone who plays one of the most dangerous shots in the world which aren't even a part of the cricket book. However, being a talented player, he has the knowledge to execute the shots, which is another great thing about him. While talking about his knock, he spoke about his partnership with Gill and mentioned that they share a great relationship off the field and that playing with him was special.

The Indian wicketkeeper said, "Coming back to Test cricket where I belong the most, being on the field gives me pleasure more than anything else. I don't know what people say outside, I tried to read the situation in my own way, when you are 30-3 you need to stitch a partnership and that's what I did with Gill. To do it with a guy who I have a great relationship with is special."
