While the entire world adores Virat Kohli, star batter Smriti Mandhana admires him for what he has done for the Indian Cricket team. He is undoubtedly the best player in India and has achieved a lot of feats in his 16-year career. From playing U-19 WC for India to captaining the senior team, he surely came a long way, and the fans are well aware of it. However, the comparison between Kohli and Mandhana is never-ending.

Ever since Mandhana donned the Indian jersey with No. 18 written on her back, she's been compared to Kohli quite often. Speaking about this unreasonable comparison, Mandhana has finally urged the fans to stop this comparison because it will take her some years to reach where Kohli is today.

"Virat Kohli is a great player. What he has achieved for Indian cricket is amazing. Don't compare me with him just because I'm wearing a No. 18 jersey, I don't like such comparisons", said Smriti Mandhana during an interview.

Virat Kohli's flop show against Sri Lanka

Virat Kohli is a fabulous spin player and has given them nightmares forever now. However, it seemed like the tables turned when spinners dismissed Kohli throughout the entire ODI Series, which was highly unexpected. Apart from being dismissed by the spinners, it was a low-scoring series for Kohli as he didn't cross the 30-run mark in any game.

He looked off throughout the series, and it wasn't something that anybody anticipated. Now that India doesn't have many ODI games, Kohli will have to gear up for the Test series, which will be played under the WTC cycle. The upcoming assignment is the Bangladesh series, starting in September.
