Veteran India star Amit Mishra has revealed how Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli had settled their differences. The pair had famously clashed during the Lucknow Super Giants vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru game on 1st May 2023. The issue started with Kohli’s war of words with Naveen-ul-Haq.

Gautam Gambhir who was then the mentor of Lucknow Super Giants stepped into the issue. The pair had a huge war of words at the end of the game as Gautam Gambhir was seen furiously giving Virat Kohli a piece of his mind.

Amit Mishra speaks on Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir's feud

Speaking on the Shubhankar Mishra, veteran Indian star Amit Mishra said “It was Gautam Gambhir who ended the feud with Virat Kohli by walking up to him and hugging him thereby showing his large-heartedness. Although it should have been done by Kohli as he made the issue bigger and dragged it”

Amit Mishra was at the non-striker's end when Virat Kohli exchanged words with Naveen-ul-Haq. It was apparent back then that Amit Mishra wasn’t happy with the way Virat Kohli had behaved with his teammate.

Naveen Ul Haq and Virat Kohli then made amends when the pair met during the 2023 ODI World Cup game in New Delhi. During the India vs Afghanistan match Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq hugged and the former India captain asked the crowd to stop booing the Afghan star.

Gautam Gambhir who left Lucknow to become the mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders made amends with Kohli during IPL 2024. During the KKR vs RCB match the cameras panned to Gambhir hugging Kohli and seemingly congratulating him for becoming a father again.

Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir will yet again share the Indian dressing room with Gambhir being named the India coach. The pair have clashed a few times in IPL and it will be interesting to see how the duo get along in the national setup.
