Harbhajan Singh

Former Indian cricket legend Harbhajan Singh found himself leaving fans confused on social media platform X. The 44-year-old wrote “Nowadays, some ants are teaching bees how to make honey”.  It was a cryptic tweet that left the fan base divided with many fans taking potshots at the former Indian star.

The former World Cup winner also took to Instagram and wrote “Don’t feed every dog you see sufferings. Some just need the strength to bite you” and quoted it to popular show Peaky Blinders. Just like his tweet, the fans were left confused by such messages and posts.

Just a few days ago, Harbhajan was in the news when he said that MS Dhoni was upset after the Chennai vs Bengaluru IPL 2024 game. The 103 Test veteran said that the former India and Chennai Super Kings skipper had punched a TV set. This happened after the entire handshake fiasco during the final league game of the IPL 2024 season.

Chennai Super Kings responded to these statements and said “This is absolute Rubbish! MSD did not break anything and I have never seen him aggressive after any match. Fake news”. This got India’s former legendary star facing lots of wrath and backlash from fans on social media.

Just a few days ago during his appearance on the Sports Yaari show, Harbhajan said that he was shocked that Hardik Pandya wasn’t given T20I captaincy. After Rohit Sharma decided to retire from the T20I format after winning the World Cup. Suryakumar Yadav was appointed the leader of the side.

During the same show, India’s former star also revealed how Mumbai Indians got the better of Chennai Super Kings in the IPL finals. “The tricks Dhoni used to come up with, we worked to find a solution. In pressure situations, MI did better than CSK. When I left MI to join CSK, I got a lot of love. Bowled well and won a championship, got a runners-up medal as well”

When asked to compare Rohit and MS Dhoni, the former Indian star said “Why do you compare the two? Dhoni led the team and took it forward, Rohit is also doing the same. Every cup you win, you put hope in others. That is important. The better captain is the one who inspires you to win. If we talk about achievements, Rohit is not lesser than Dhoni. Dada, Kohli, Dhoni, Rohit, everyone has contributed in their own way to take the team forward.  Now, the fight is within to take the team even a step further”
