Former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) player Ambati Rayadu blasted the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fans after they lost against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the eliminator of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. This reaction came when RCB fans humiliated the CSK fans in Bengaluru after their last league game which the men in yellow lost by 17 runs due to which they failed to qualify. However, the Super Kings' fans returned the humiliation and the trolls after RCB lost the eliminator.

"My heart truly goes out to all the RCB supporters who have passionately supported the team over the years. If only the management and the leaders had the team's interests ahead of individual milestones .. RCB would have won multiple titles. Just remember how many fantastic players have been let go. Force your management to bring players who will put the team's interests first. A great new chapter can start from the mega auction," tweeted Rayadu.

Rayadu's statement might seem crude but what he said made sense. RCB never backed any cricketer except one or two due to which they always failed to create a good team. On the other hand, CSK management always believed in carrying the players throughout the season even if they were out of form. Hence, the Super Kings are the most successful franchise in the IPL tournament.

'We are very hopeful he’ll be available for CSK next year' - K.S. Viswanathan on MS Dhoni's retirement

K.S Viswanathan, CSK CEO is quite hopeful of MS Dhoni's return to the IPL in the upcoming season. Currently, Dhoni is suffering from a back and knee injury but is still managing to bat and field for the team. He had the best strike rate in the season and was not out for straight six games. Even though he came to bat down the order, he gave the best he could with being half-fit.

I do not know. It is a question only MS [Dhoni] can answer. We have always respected the decisions taken by MS. We have left it to him and as all of you know he has always taken his decisions and announced them at the appropriate time. We do expect that we will get a decision as and when he decides. But we are very hopeful he’ll be available for CSK next year," said K.S. Viswanathan in the video released by CSK.
