India's debutant Mayank Yadav delivered in style as his first over went for maiden in the 1st T20I game against Bangladesh. Later, he went on to get his first wicket in the 2nd ball of the 2nd over. the 22-year-old young sensational player is winning hearts with his bowling against Bangladesh and seems like he's here to stay. He maintained a certain line and length along with pace which didn't allow the batters to go after him.
The best part about the bowler is his consistent bowling efforts where he keeps on changing his line and length but doesn't compromise with the speed. He dismissed Mahmudullah who came in to bat and had scored just one run. The wicket delivery was 146.1kph which made the batter go after the ball. As he danced down the track and ended up slicing it in the air. It was easy catch for Washington Sundar who was waiting patiently in the deep mid-wicket.

Bangladesh batters are struggling as usual against the Indian bowlers as they have scored just 64 runs at the loss of five wickets after ten overs. Skipper Najmul Shanto is the only batter who looks confident while facing the bowlers. He is currently playing on 25 runs off 21 balls including one boundary and one six.

Mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy made his comeback in the Indian team after three years. He last played a match for India in the T20 World Cup 2021 and after that he didn't get a chance in the team for various reasons. This time, he took two wickets against Bangladesh and made the most out of the opportunity he got after years.
His first over wasn't that great as he went for 15 runs. However, he made a brilliant comeback in the next two overs taking two wickets and conceding 26 runs. He made it difficult for the batters to face him and hence, they ended up throwing their wicket.
