Young and sensational pace bowler Mayank Yadav and all-rounder Nitish Reddy made their debut against Bangladesh in the 1st T20I game in Gwalior. After a brilliant performance in the IPL season, both players have finally got the opportunity to represent their country in the ongoing series. The Suryakumar Yadav-led Indian team will play a 3-match T20I series against Bangladesh. After an outstanding performance in the Test series, Surya will look to repeat the same in the T20 series as well.

Bangladesh have been quite submissive in the Test cricket but the Shanto-led team will look to change their fortunes in the series. They have got some brilliant players who have the potential to score big and take good wickets. The outstanding bowler Mustafizur Rehman is a part of the team who has a pretty good record in India.

Well, the Indian captain won the toss and pushed the Bangladesh batters to bat first. Chasing has been a trend in T20Is and Surya went with it. The visitors have already lost their openers in the warly overs which might have shook their confidence a bit. However, as we write, skipper Shanto and Towhid Hridoy are batting with straight minds. Captain Shanto has scored 14 runs while Hridoy is playing on 12 runs.

Arshdeep Singh leads the bowling attack with style

In the absence of senior bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Siraj, the young bowler Arshdeep Singh has rose to the occasion and dismantled the top order of Bangladesh in style. He dismissed both the openers who looked set at one point. In two overs, Singh took two wickets and gave away just eight runs. On the other hand, Hardik Pandya and Varun Chakravarthy were bit expensive as they leaked quite a few runs.

However, the debutant Mayank Yadav's first over went for a maiden which was quite brilliant. He went the correct line and length and the batter couldnt play him at all. This is nothing less than a dream debut for Mayank and from here on he will only reach new heights if he continues to bowl well.
