Ravindra Jadeja’s Bowling and Batting records in ODI format suggest the importance he has in the team. Jadeja was a key part of Dhoni’s team that won the title in 2013 as he was the top wicket taker with 12 scalps. Apart from his bowling and batting, Jadeja is also a great fielder.

The upcoming tournament might be the final time the world gets to witness Jadeja playing in an ICC event. The veteran Indian star will want to help India achieve their second world title in a space of eight months.

Ravindra Jadeja has rarely got a chance to bat in Champions Trophy. The left-handed batter has played just three innings and scored 62 runs so far. His best innings came during the 2013 tournament where he scored 47 not out in the first match against South Africa. Jadeja got his runs off just 29 runs and got India to a huge total and helped them win the match.

Jadeja’s next turn to bat came in 2017 where he scored 15 runs in the finals of the tournament. Fans remember the moment when Hardik Pandya, who was batting well, was run-out after a mix-up in the middle with Jadeja. Since then the veteran Indian star has picked up his batting skills and is a huge contributor for the team.
