The second Test between India and Bangladesh in Kanpur has had a rollercoaster of a journey. On the first day, Bangladesh saw themselves at 107/3 before rain interfered in the match to cost the rest of the play. There was no play for the next couple of days due to rain. Still, India find themselves in a position to claim an incredible Test win in a battle against time.

It has been such a series where Bangladesh is not India's challenger. Time has been a challenge for India. While it was overcast in Chennai, it did not hamper India. Kanpur due to its worst drainage system has put India under terrific pressure to win at all costs.

The Indian team is up for the challenge. As the play resumed on the fourth day, India dismissed Bangladesh for 233 runs in their first innings. What followed was something insane as India went all guns blazing as if it was a T20 match quite literally and figuratively.

The batters tried to smack as many runs as they could. Even someone like KL Rahul and Virat Kohli adopted the quick strategy and went after the bowlers for fun. The tone was set right at the top when Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal went after the bowlers.

India registered the fastest 50, 100, 150, 200, and 250+ scores for a team in a Test innings. They declared the innings after scoring 285/9. Ravichandran Ashwin helped India to claim 2 quick wickets as the fourth day ended. At the start of the third day, Bangladesh managed to wipe off their first innings defeat.

They lost 3 wickets in the process and might be under a bit of pressure to force a draw. With the bowling attack India possesses, they must be able to dismiss Bangladesh in the second session. Anything less than 100 seems chasable on a wicket like Kanpur. While there is uneven bounce, the aggressive approach of Indian batters might be decisive.
