There is huge news coming ahead of the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction 2025. According to reports carried out by CRICBUZZ, few big-name international cricket players are set to involve themselves fully in the league. The message has been conveyed by the cricket boards of Australia, England, New Zealand, and South Africa.
Other cricket boards like Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have also accepted conditional terms for their player participation in the league. The move comes after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the dates for the next three IPL Seasons on Friday. The 2025 edition is set to begin on 14th March with the finals in the middle of May.
Meanwhile, players from Afghanistan, West Indies, and Zimbabwe will also be part of the entire season of the next three IPL seasons. It is a huge boost for BCCI who have always seen some of the best talents pull out at the last moment.
The Cricket Board allow players for an entire season of IPL.
In a massive boost to the next three seasons of IPL, some of the leading cricket boards have paved the way for their player to play the tournament without breaks. Cricket Australia has allowed all of its players who are retained or set to be picked to be part of the entire 2025 season. The next two seasons will witness Australian stars missing a few games due to international commitments before joining the league.
Jofra Archer, Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, and Jonny Bairstow are just four of the 18 players who will be available for all three seasons. Some of the players are set to see their contracts with the board end soon.
TheSri Lankan Cricket Board has also given its players the nod to play the entire 2025 season. Those players who will be retained for the next two seasons will be playing the 2026 and 2027 without having to report for national duties.
Former Bangladeshi skipper Shakib Al Hasan has made himself available for the next 3 seasons. The 37-year-old has just bid goodbye to international cricket and is set to play franchise cricket for the next few years. Some of the other Bangladeshi players include Litton Das, Nahid Rana, Taskin Ahmed, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib just to name a few.
