Ahead of the upcoming India series, Bangladesh players are all pumped. The Bangladesh Cricket Board had arranged a practice camp in Mirpur where players were seen practising hard to face India in the 2-match Test series starting in Chennai. Bangladesh's confidence is high since they recently whitewashed Pakistan in a two-match Test series. Regarding the upcoming series, Bangladesh batter Litton Das said they have started preparing for the game.

"There is a big challenging series ahead (against India). For me as a player, that is in the past (Pakistan Series). But we definitely gained confidence from that. As for preparation, we are facing the main bowlers as much as we can. The SG ball is somewhat difficult. It's tough to play with the Kookaburra when the ball is new, but it's easier to play once the ball is old," said Litton Das.

It seems like the Bangladesh team is looking forward to facing the Indian team after such preparation. Moreover, Shakib Al Hasan missed the practice camp and went straight to join Surrey. He will join the Bangladesh team directly at the start of the series. The first match will start on September 19.

They are always the better side: Litton Das

Litton Das praised India as they are an extremely strong side when they are playing in their own backyard. Moreover, Indian players are well aware of their home conditions which is an added advantage. Moreover, the spin attack the Men in Blue have is fantastic and causes problems for other teams. Hence, Das mentioned that the series will be challenging for them.

"When we play India at their home, they are always the better side. I wouldn't say it will be extremely challenging or very easy. They are a very good team in their own conditions. If you look at the rankings, they are so high up. So I think it will be a challenging series for us. India is a big team and the ball will also change," added Litton Das.
