Former India cricketer Ajay Jadeja surpasses Virat Kohli's net worth overnight as he becomes the heir to Jamnagar Royal throne. Now his net worth is around Rs. 1,450 crore, which is huge. The Maharaja Jamsaheb of Nawanagar announced on October 12 regarding the throne. On the eve of the religious festival, he announced the decision to the world in a public set-up.

"The festival of Dussehra marks the day the Pandavas emerged victorious from exile. Today, on Dussehra, I am equally happy, as I have found a resolution to one of my dilemmas thanks to Ajay Jadeja, who has accepted to be my heir. Ajay Jadeja taking up the responsibility of serving the people of Jamnagar is truly a boon," said Maharaja Jamsaheb.

With this, he went past Kohli, whose net worth is estimated to be around INR 1000 crores. Jadeja has played around 196 matches for India in ODIs and scored 5359 runs at an average of 37.47. He has scored six centuries and 30 half-centuries. Moreover, he had the privilege of representing India in three World Cups: 1992, 1996, and 1999. He has also played cricket but wasn't a regular member of the team.

Virat Kohli gets out on duck in 1st Test match vs NZ

Virat Kohli was dismissed on a duck in the 1st Test match against New Zealand. The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium's pitch turned into a nightmare for the Indian batters as they scored 46 runs in the first innings. Only Rishabh Pant scored 20 runs. All the other batters kept throwing away their wickets at regular intervals, ending the innings on an upsetting note.

New Zealand bowlers took full advantage of the overcast conditions and broke the batting attack. The ball kept swinging throughout the innings, troubling the batters. Most of the players had poor shot selection, which is why they couldn't sustain a day in their own home ground. Now, everything depends upon the bowlers to get the team into the match again.
