The 16-time Wrestling Champion Ric Flair with AEW was impressed with Rohit Sharma copying his famous ‘Strut Walk’. The Indian skipper pulled off a classic Ric Flair move while going to collect the T20 World Cup trophy on Saturday. Ric Flair who has enjoyed a celebrated wrestling career, took to X and praised Rohit Sharma.
Ric Flair wrote, “@ImRo45 taking a page out of my playbook! Woooo”. The veteran wrestling great seemed pleased with the move pulled by Rohit Sharma. The move by the Indian skipper also seems to have been appreciated on social media. Many fans have liked the video posted by ICC on their social media handles.

It is to be noted that Ric Flair has enjoyed a decorated career inside the ring. He has been given Hall of Fame honours on multiple occasions by World Wrestling Entertainment. While he may not be wrestling anymore the ‘Nature Boy’ as he is fondly called is still a huge draw amongst the fans.
Gautam Gambhir comments on Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s retirement
Former Indian star and leading candidate for the national teams’ coaching job, Gautam Gambhir, showered praises on two veteran Indian stars. Gautam Gambhir, who was in conversation with PTI, was happy for Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
The two Indian stars had announced their retirement from the T20I format and a day later Ravindra Jadeja followed suit. Speaking to PTI, Gautam Gambhir said, “They have retired with the World Cup win, and probably better than any script that was written. Both players are great. They have done a lot for Indian cricket, and congratulate them and wish them all the best.”

Team India achieved a historic 2nd ICC T20 World Cup title win after they beat South Africa in the finals. The match went down to the wire as India held their nerves to post a 7-run win to clinch the title.
