After reaching NBA Finals with Dallas Mavericks Luka Doncic has made a funny statement that he never watched NBA Finals during his childhood. In the regular season, the Dalla Mavericks were in fifth position and were qualified for a playoff spot. In the first round of playoffs, they defeated the Los Angeles Clippers to go ahead to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals, they defeated Oklahoma City Thunder by 4-2 as they reached the Western Conference finals. In the Conference final, they overcame the Minnesota Timberwolves as they reached the NBA Finals after 2011.

Luka Doncic remembers his journey which has taken six years into his career. Later he expressed that this went through hard work and efforts to reach this point. Meanwhile, Luka Doncic hasn’t stopped yet he is still dreaming of winning the NBA Title with the team. Dallas Mavericks will need to win four more games against Boston Celtics. 

According to Firstsportz, Luka Doncic stated, “I didn't watch because it was four in the morning. I had school the next day”. Luka Doncic is from Slovenia as there is a lot of time difference between the USA and Europe Luka Doncic never stayed up to watch NBA Finals. During the press conference after the match Luka Doncic was questioned about what it feels like to watch finals at home and now going to play in NBA Finals. Luka Doncic has an epic reply which can be related to many European fans who watch NBA games.

Boston Celtics dominated the Eastern Conference

For Dallas Mavericks this season Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic have been the key players for the team throughout the playoffs season. Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics made it into the NBA Finals by defeating the Indiana Pacers in the semi-finals. In regular season Boston Celtics were dominating the Eastern Conference as they finished on No.1 spot. The NBA Finals will start next week as Game 1 will be played on 7th June in Boston.
