While they are on the same team as the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James has joked that his son Bronny James may give him three nicknames, including the "Greatest of all time," or the "GOAT." This coming 2024–25 season, Bronny will play with his father after being selected by the storied team in the second round of the draft. There will be enough to observe the father-son bond when King James and his son attend the court together.

NBA fans got a glimpse of a possible family dynamic this coming season when LeBron said his kid should not call his father "dad" while they play together, even if he can go by three nicknames on the court. Bronny had to select instead from King James's three options, he insisted.

No, he must refer to me as 'two-three' or 'Bron.'" Alternatively, if he so chooses, GOAT. LeBron James said on an upcoming episode of The Shop, "It's up to him, I mean it's up to him."

It is unclear how much time Bronny will spend on the court

In addition to Los Angeles Lakers' hopes for a title, supporters will undoubtedly want to see the father-son team dominate on the floor. The renowned baller said that since he has called his kid "Bronny" his entire life, he would not have any difficulties when he and his son enter the court. The following season could witness the development of this intriguing subplot; yet, considering the Lakers' hopes of making the playoffs, it is unclear how much time Bronny will spend on the court.

James continued by saying that since he had always gone by Bronny James, it wouldn't be too much of a change for him. The family issue should provide for an intriguing storyline in the upcoming season, but it's unlikely that Bronny James will play a significant part in a Lakers team that is still hoping to make the playoffs.
