With the assistance of a fan on Sunday night, LeBron James, the standout player for the Los Angeles Lakers, recorded his third triple-double of the 2024–25 campaign. After the Lakers defeated the Toronto Raptors 123-103, James told reporters that a fan caught his eye and reminded him that he needed one more rebound to complete the accomplishment.

Anthony Davis' injury, which forced him to exit the game in the third quarter after taking an inadvertent hit to the face, overshadowed the Lakers' triumph, which improved their home record to 5-0. With 5:16 left in the third quarter, Davis, who had led the NBA in scoring before the game, blocked Toronto's Jakob Poeltl's dunk attempt, injuring his eye.

He is averaging 51.5/44.4/81.6 shooting splits with 23.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 8.9 assists per game.
