Bronny James' well-known father LeBron James attended the NBA draft combine on Wednesday to see his son play. LeBron James arrived in a black hoodie and sat in the second row for Bronny's second and last scrimmage of the combine.

Last season, the NBA's career scoring leader, his wife, and daughter attended several of Bronny's games in Southern California. LeBron James has stated frequently that he would like to collaborate with his son. The four-time MVP and four-time NBA champion recently finished his 21st season and may become a free agent if he opts out of his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. However, following a season-ending defeat to Denver, he admitted that he hasn't "given much thought lately" to playing beside his kid.

Bronny James is considering turning pro after one collegiate season. On April 5, he declared for the draft and used the transfer site. Bronny James was one of the nation's best prospects when he elected to stay close to home and pledge to USC last May after graduating from Sierra Canyon School in neighboring Chatsworth. Last summer, however, things took an unexpected turn.

James suffered a cardiac attack due to a congenital heart

During a basketball exercise at USC in late July, James suffered a cardiac attack due to a congenital heart abnormality and required surgery. He missed the season's opening month. He averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists over 25 games with the Trojans.

James appeared more at ease on the court as he led Team St. Andrews to a 90-83 victory over Team Love, scoring 13 points in 23 minutes. The boy did well in front of his iconic father, Los Angeles Lakers player LeBron James, and Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka.

James still has time to decide whether to stay in the draft or return to college, since the deadline is May 29. Whatever he decides, James is undoubtedly benefiting from his time at the combine, where he can compare his abilities to those of other prospects.
