Caitlin Clark has developed a fan base of all ages around the country in recent years. Her fandom appears to include newborns as well. At the Indiana Fever's Fever Fore Change golf event, the rookie signed autographs for possibly her youngest fan, a two-week-old infant donning a Fever onesie. While the child fan will undoubtedly outgrow the onesie Clark autographed, it will be a valuable souvenir for years to come as Clark's career progresses.

At the Fever Fore Change golf fundraiser on Thursday, the Indiana Fever guard was the talk of the town. A woman approached Caitlin Clark with her infant in tow, and the gathering of players, coaches, staff, and fans took an unexpected turn. The mother, who claimed that her child was Clark's "biggest fan," made a daring request: would the 6-foot rookie phenom be down to hold the baby?

Taken by surprise, Caitlin Clark pondered for a second before deciding to go ahead. She gently held the small fan in her arms and signed the infant's onesie as a special touch. It was a touching scene that encapsulated Clark's relationship with her followers. Furthermore, since Clark joined the squad, the Fever's social media following has grown by 1.3 million. They have more social media views than any club in the WNBA, NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB in just four months.

Since making debut in WNBA Caitlin Clark set many records

Since being selected as the first overall choice in the draft for Indiana Fever, Clark has welcomed her burgeoning fan base with open arms. Furthermore, it goes beyond the signatures. The rookie for the Fever has been a major factor in the team's recent popularity explosion. The stats speak for themselves: beer sales at games have reached all-time highs, season tickets are sold out, and attendance has increased by 264% over the previous season. She set a new WNBA record in July when she had 19 assists in a single game against the Dallas Wings. Additionally, she has tallied ten or more assists in eight of her last ten games.

Following a 13-27 season, the Fever are now in seventh position in the league because of Clark's fantastic rookie year, which helped Indiana start the season 11-15 before the league took a break for the Olympics. When Clark and the Fever play Phoenix Mercury on Friday, it will be their first game back since July 17.
