Despite the Indiana Fever's loss to the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday night, Caitlin Clark created another WNBA history. Game 2 of their best-of-three series ended in an 87-81 loss for the Fever, which meant they were out of the playoffs. Since the WNBA's first season, Clark became the first rookie to record a 25-5-5 playoff game. In addition, she holds the record for the youngest player in WNBA playoff history with 25 points and 5 assists.
It was an amazing journey, even if her first professional season was concluding. In addition to winning the most assists (total and rookie-specific), Clark also set records for most three-pointers made by rookies and rookie scoring records in a single season.
Not only did Caitlin Clark win the AP Rookie of the Year honour, but she was a strong candidate for the season MVP title, which was eventually won by A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces. Clark affected TV ratings as well since her Fever established a record for the most people to watch a WNBA playoff game.

During the game, while she was about to score basketball she collided with DeWanna Bonner while she was in the air and was about to score a point for Indiana Fever. Due to getting collided there was a call for foul play but she didn’t receive any foul for it.
A fan got removed during the game
Indiana Fever got out to a quick start, leading 14-6 before the Sun closed the opening quarter with 11 points to take a three-point lead. After a foul with 1:29 remaining in the quarter, Clark saw a fan sitting in the second row and alerted an official, who then phoned security and had the fan removed to the back. Later on, the fan came back, and nothing more happened.
During the regular season, Connecticut Sun dominated the Fever, winning their first two meetings and dropping only one. Game 1 saw the Sun demonstrate their dominance with a 93-69 win, led by two outstanding games from Alyssa Thomas. She scored 19 points and dished out 13 assists in Game 2.
