In addition to being one of the best players in the WNBA, Caitlin Clark is a superstar for the Indiana Fever. The 22-year-old is also a master on the golf field, it turns out. Clark almost accomplished this on Monday while playing golf with fellow Fever player Lexie Hull. The former Iowa standout came within inches of making a hole-in-one.

This is known as an ace in golf and happens when a ball that was struck from the tee to begin a hole ends up in the cup. On a par-3 hole, a video of Clark almost missing her shot has gone viral online. She narrowly missed the accomplishment, but her next stroke was a birdie. Lexie Hull missed her second stroke, allowing Clark to win. Clark responded triumphantly by smiling in Hull's face. Millions of people have viewed the video, which was first published on social media by the All-Star guard herself on TikTok.

Watch here the video:

As Caitlin Clark celebrated the incredible occasion, it was evident how much the shot meant to her. Though she had just lost out on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, there was also some disappointment there. In her first season, Clark averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds. Clark's season gained a few more games as Indiana advanced to the postseason's first round as well. Clark will now have a whole offseason to get ready for her second season in the WNBA.

Caitlin Clark will play in golf competition

During the off-season, Clark is playing golf. Despite the fact that many sportsmen play golf for fun in their spare time, Clark seems to have serious goals for the game. Clark still prioritizes basketball, but she might pursue a career in golf as well. According to what Clark previously said, she plans to play golf for a large portion of her leisure time over the offseason. She's obviously improving as well. In November, the WNBA Rookie of the Year will compete in The Annika pro-am, a competition organized by golf icon Annika Sorenstam.
