WATCH: Anthony Edwards trains with Adrien Broner

Last year October Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves had a tough season in the NBA as his team Minnesota Timberwolves were knocked out by the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference finals. Minnesota Timberwolves lost to the Dallas Mavericks by a score of 4-1 to reach the NBA Finals. Anthony Edwards was selected for Team USA for the Paris Olympics 2024. Before the start of the Paris Olympics 2024, he got only a few days to rest.  

During the Paris Olympics Team USA won the gold medal as they defeated France in the Olympics Finals. But the All-Star guard has maintained his fitness by participating in another sport. Anthony Edwards just posted a video of himself boxing with a trainer to Instagram. In response to the basketball player's comments, former world champion Adrien Broner quickly stated, "As a four-division title holder, Broner is no longer the boxer he once was."

He was submitted in the second round of his most recent battle in June against Blair Cobbs, and the bout ended in a unanimous decision. Should they want to practice together, "AB" would still have a lot to teach Anthony Edwards despite the decline in performance and form. The gold medallist at the Olympics must have boxed for a while. The basketball player must have trained for a few months at least based on his form and technique. He may step up his pugilistic game with a couple of sessions with Broner.

Anthony Davis will accompany Floyd Mayweather to the ring

Anthony Edwards's boxing video serves as an introduction to the Mexico City boxing tournament on Saturday. TMZ Sports reports that "Ant-Man" and Team USA colleague Anthony Davis will accompany Floyd Mayweather to the ring ahead of his fight with John Gotti III. Before fights, "Money Mayweather" frequently has famous people join him, but this will be the first time that both NBA players have done so.

This will be the rematch of the fight which happened in June 2023. Due to some brawl between them, the match was stopped by the referee and things turned so ugly that supporters and trainers from the side had to enter the ring as both Gotti and Mayweather were not stopping.
