Similar to small forwards and power forwards in the modern NBA command the players are capable of scoring, guarding, and grabbing rebounds. A two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is among several NBA top power forwards, and Karl-Anthony Towns is also one of the rising prospects who will be looking to improve next season.

As the 2024/25 NBA season is getting closer, players have started gearing up for the season. It is important to note who will be among the several NBA stars who are going to create an impact this season.

Here are the top 5 NBA power forwards:

5. Giannis Antetokounmpo:

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks was named to the first team of the NBA and an All-Star after he once again put up incredible numbers. He placed fourth in the MVP voting the previous season. Even while the Greek superstar will probably be expecting more team success in 2024–25, which should be entirely achievable given that Damian Lillard, the team's key addition from the previous season, will be better adjusted to his new surroundings, Antetokounmpo should have another fantastic season on the court.

4. Pascal Siakam:

Pascal Siakam

Pascal Siakam's forward for the Indiana Pacers had a strong half-season debut with his new team following a mid-season trade from the Toronto Raptors. Siakam is a perfect fit for what Indiana needed and, has recently inked a large contract extension, and will continue to produce at a high level for the Pacers for years to come.

3. Karl-Anthony Towns:

Karl-Anthony Towns

Karl-Anthony Towns, the big man for the Minnesota Timberwolves, has played in the NBA for nine years already. He is a player who is considered an All-Star, and he should continue to help the Timberwolves push for a legitimate title in the upcoming seasons, especially now that he has finally adjusted to playing alongside massive centre Rudy Gobert.

2. Draymond Green:

After making a career-high 39.5 per cent of his three in the previous season, Draymond Green, the four-time NBA champion, should have had a far better season in 2023–24. Even though he didn't score many points in 2023–24, Green was still a very productive player on both ends as a rebounder, facilitator, and defender. Perhaps Green will be able to resume his usual activities now that the Golden State Warriors have made roster adjustments this summer.

1. Maxi Kleber:

Maxi Kleber

Due to injuries, Maxi Kleber was not fully available for the Dallas Mavericks as they went into the NBA Finals. When he was in the team he had impactful performances as he used to block shots and give assists while he used to score three-pointers. Kleber has demonstrated in the past that he can be a reliable element off the bench for the Mavericks, even winning Sixth Man of the Year votes in 2021–2022, so perhaps next season will see an upswing in output, or at least in availability.
