"It was a bromance," Steve Kerr joked, drawing laughter from those in attendance, "I think those guys, there's so much respect and has been for so long. Until you're playing on the same team, you won't know what that's like that's like, and it clicked from day one. They remind me of each other but not in the way they play, but the way they prepare," Steve Kerr said as per Bolavip.

During their weeks in France, Kerr was able to observe firsthand the connection between Curry and James as the head coach of Team USA. In addition to leading the team to a gold medal, they showed leadership off the court during the competition.

Kerr, who coached Stephen Curry at the Warriors for a decade, also drew comparisons between the Golden State star and LeBron: “There’s a reason he’s doing what he’s doing at 39. The way he approaches practice, talks in shootaround, and film sessions, and engages his teammates and leads, it’s very similar to Steph.”

LeBron James and Stephen Curry have a famous rivalry as the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors have met four times in a row in the NBA Finals. In three of those series, Curry won, and James made a remarkable return in the 2015–16 season.

Despite their intense rivalry, both athletes set aside their disagreements and united for Team USA when the opportunity to collaborate arose. They were largely responsible for the team's sixth consecutive Olympic gold, LeBron's third, and Curry's first.
