According to reports, the NBA is ending its investigation about Josh Giddey getting involved in the relationship case without any charge with an underage girl. Josh Giddey was sixth in the NBA draft and was picked by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2021 NBA Draft. Newport Beach Police Department claims that they found no main evidence of any criminal activity against him.

According to Pink Villa, a spokesperson of Newport Beach Police mailed Fox News Digital about the case and stated, "Our detectives have examined all available information pertinent to the allegations about Josh Giddey trending on social media and couldn't validate any criminal involvement on Mr Giddey's part." No charges are on record against him.

As ESPN reported, if they did not find any evidence the NBA has to close the case. In November, rumours circulated on social media alleging Giddey's contact with an underage girl. This followed the release of video footage and photos, prompting an investigation by both the NBA and the police.

Due to this many questions were raised at Oklahoma City Thunder but coach Mark Daigneault overlooked it and continued Josh Giddey to play games for the team. However, Josh Giddey has not answered any questions regarding the situation.

I feel lucky to have people who genuinely care about me - Josh Giddey

Despite his difficult year of off-court scandals, an unpredictable court season, and eventually being injured, Giddey remained communicative and composed. However, when he began to examine his feelings of thankfulness, the weight of his remarks increased.

On Sunday he had a goodbye session where he shared his view, "There were instances when the motivation to get out of bed was missing for multiple reasons. But I feel lucky to have people who genuinely care about me and support me. Being around my teammates daily in the gym uplifting,"

Right from the start of the NBA season, Josh Giddey was part of the team until the last two playoff games. He was replaced by Isaiah Joe. His average was 8.7 points and 3.6 rebounds.
