LeBron James and Bronny James scripted history in the game against the Phoenix Suns in the NBA 2024/25 game. They became the first father-son duo to play in an NBA game together. As Bronny got to be in the court for 4 minutes alongside his legendary father, a new record was set. LeBron claimed that it was everything he ever hoped for.
The result of the match was not the one the father-son duo would have hoped for as LA Lakers lost 114-118 to the Suns. It was not given a big care by the fans. It seemed like they just wanted to see the father-son duo in action. There was a loud cheer in the stadium as the duo played together.

Bronny James was on the court for about 4 minutes before being removed by the coach. The former champion led 69-57 in the first half. A great turnaround from the Suns in the second half meant that there was no chance for the Lakers.

After the loss to the Phoenix Suns, LeBron was asked about the special moment with his son. He claimed it to be cool and added that he would never forget it in his life. "It's pretty cool for the both of us and especially for our family. It's definitely a moment that I will never forget. For a father, it means everything," said Lebron James.
He claimed it to be special to have an influence on kids, especially on their own. LeBron added that having a special moment with his son on the court was one of the greatest things he could have wished for as a father.
"For someone who didn't have that growing up, to be able to have that influence on your kids and have that influence on your son, be able to have moments with your son - and the ultimate, to be able to work with your son - that's one of the greatest things that a father could ever hope for or wish for," added LeBron.
