On Friday night Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Memphis Grizzles by 123-120 as LeBron James took charge as he scored 37 points and his teammate Anthony Davis scored 36 points. Anthony Davis returned from injury due to which he missed the game against Golden State Warriors on Tuesday. LeBron James took 13 shots out of 20 attempts which helped to end the game-losing streak for the Los Angeles Lakers.

According to AP News, Anthony Davis stated that, “I felt fine. No issues. Felt pretty good out there.”

While for Memphis Grizzles GG Jackson scored 31 points, Scotty Pippen Jr, scored a career-high 28 points, Jordan Goodwin scored 23 points and 16 rebounds and Jake LaRavia got 28 points. As the game went into the fourth quarter Memphis Grizzlies were leading by 99-98. With just 1:06 minutes left Jake LaRavia's two free throws gave them the lead by 118-117. Later Los Angeles got two free throws to end the game in their side.

Los Angeles Lakers are in play-in from the Western Conference

LeBron James played for 41 minutes, while Davis played almost 43. However, Lakers coach Darvin Ham stated that he was not concerned about how much time his two best scorers played because 'We all realise what's at stake."

The Lakers are already certain to make the Western Conference play-in round of the playoffs and are merely jockeying for position. The Lakers started the day tied with Sacramento and Golden State for eighth through tenth place. The Kings and Warriors played later Friday night.

Los Angeles Lakers will finish their regular season by facing New Orleans Pelicans while Memphis Grizzles will face Denver Nuggets to end their season.
