Kelsey Plum posted recollections of her Olympics campaign in Paris 2024 on Instagram. The guard was a member of a top team that captured gold for the seventh time in a row. After winning her second gold medal in the main event, Plum expressed her gratitude to her teammates, family, and friends for being a part of her support network. 

In her most recent Instagram post, she included many images and wrote the following caption, "Just thankful for the people who help make it come together. We are the company you keep," as per Sportskeeda.

Her Las Vegas Aces colleagues Alysha Clark and Kate Martin replied to the tweet. Currently, the post has received over 65,000 likes, and every photo showcases a content Plum surrounded by her loved ones. The guard, who revealed her divorce from NFL player and NY Giants star Darren Waller, had a trying offseason before making her post. Before the season began, she shared a tale about her divorce on Instagram.

A'ja Wilson, the 2024 Olympics MVP and teammate of Kelsey Plum was hyping her up. Following the victory, the former danced to Kendrick Lamar's breakout song, "They Not Like Us," with the forward encouraging her. Plum was observed showcasing her dancing skills while the crew as a whole applauded her.

USA women's defeated France in Olympics finals

In the gold medal final, Plum and Wilson were crucial to the US victory over France. Wilson scored a game-high 21 points to lead the team, while the PG contributed 12 points. For the third consecutive season, the pair will now try to assist the Aces in defending their WNBA title. 18.8 points was Kelsey Plum's average. In the first half of the WNBA season, she recorded 2.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists. 

The Aces went through a little dip, but they have since recovered to win eight of their past ten games and rank fifth overall in the standings with a 16-8 record. They will play three games at home to resume their title defence, beginning on August 17 with a tough matchup against the New York Liberty. Whether the Aces go farther this season and capture their third straight WNBA title is still up in the air.
