Trash talk does not hurt the king

Through many NBA games we have seen players use the art of talking trash to get under the other players skin. This might have worked against many players in the game, but did not seem to affect the likes of Lebron James. We have seen multiple videos of James on instagram having shooting contests with his sons and see them try talking trash to their dad. However, it seems just like in the big leagues, even the two brothers were humbled by their performances. Even then the man in a friendly competition was not even going hard on his young boys.

These videos bring out one of the best qualities of James who has shown that the trash he hears on the court just fuels him. This was even seen in a game against the Grizzlies where Dillon Brooks was trying to do the same. Unfortunately in that match James made sure that his team won the series and made even Brooks eat up his own words in the long run. It is safe to say that you might use these tactics against any player, but King James will be the player that you will want to avoid this against. This is one of the qualities that keeps him on top.
