Gilbert Arenas's solid comments on Nightcap about Nikola Jokic being the worst MVP winner in the previous 40 years sparked outrage among basketball fans and pundits. While Jokic's MVP awards have raised eyebrows for a variety of reasons, labeling him as the "worst" MVP winner necessitates critical consideration. 

According to MNS, he stated, "Now, I do understand when they say this about Jokic. Jokic is probably, statistically, when it comes to the overall game, the worst MVP winner. He is the worst MVP winner in the last 40 years."

"When you're talking about MVP, the guys outside of first and second place, their teams was first and second place. outside of first and second place, their teams were first and second place. The people who won the MVP, their teams were first and second," he added.

Gilbert Arenas highlighted at statistical prowess of Nikola Jokic recognizing his good performance overall in the game. he focused on the significance of a player's team's success in MVP voting. MVP winners have historically come from teams who finish first in their respective conferences, which strengthens their eligibility.

Nikola Jokic makes him a legitimate candidate to win MVP

Denver Nuggets have equaled the best record in the Western Conference under his leadership skills. Furthermore, Jokic's MVP-worthy performances highlight the award's shifting character. His statistical domination and adaptability on the court extend beyond his team's record. Even though the Denver Nuggets do not always finish first in the Western Conference, Jokic's excellent achievements make him a legitimate MVP candidate.
