After playing for the Indiana Fever and the Iowa Hawkeyes for two complete seasons in a single calendar year, Caitlin Clark has been off the competitive basketball for around six weeks, which must seem like she is enjoying her time in the game. Rookie guard Bronny James has been added to the G League's South Bay Lakers after making six NBA outings for the Los Angeles Lakers.
There has been a lot of debate about the Los Angeles Lakers' response to James' relocation to the G League. Although Bronny struggled with his shooting, going 2-of-9 from the field and missing all of his three-point attempts, he displayed his abilities in a 110-96 victory over the Salt Lake City Stars, scoring six points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
"Because my daddy is LeBron James," Arenas said in response to Brandon Jennings asking why Bronny is getting special treatment. "That's one. Two, I'm Bronny James... I'm coming to this arena, it's being filled up because of me. It's like Caitlin Clark," Charania said.

Bronny will be in the spotlight while he gets used to playing professionally because he has the potential to be a major player in the G-League and, eventually, the NBA.
